Getting Things Accomplished While Grieving
The Clarity and Purpose Series – Part 5 – Four Items a Day
Keep it Simple!
Well hello there,
I hope the series has been amazing and useful for you! I would love to hear your thoughts and feedback about the content so I can improve and get better.
On to today’s content!
As a person with high functioning anxiety I get overwhelmed super easy and I end up on the couch under a blanket taking a nap and binging on netflix with my ice cream in hand. A huge task list does this to me! So as you saw on the day 3 I set up my calendar to 4 things a day.
I CAN do a lot more than 4 things a day but my task list is limited to 4 things so I can stay focused and get my work done.
It also acts as a journal for me so I can track what I did, any thoughts that come to mind, ideas, and what I’m posting on my social media and where. That way at any point in time I can look back and see what I’ve done.
This can also be done in a physical book as well and there is a video below to explain that for you too.
I hope this helps you and makes each day more productive and therefore happy!
Amber xx

The Clarity and Purpose Series – Part 4 – Goals, Goals, Goals!
Let’s Break that Glass Ceiling!
I don’t know about you but whenever I see goals, goals, goals I think of two things…that part of Holiday Inn where he says, SNOW! SNOW! SNOOOOWWW! and also that Lady Gaga song Boys, Boys, Boys! (Are those songs now stuck in your head? insert evil laugh!)
Today is going to be all about your goals. How to record them, how to break them down, and how to organize them both on paper and digitally!
I’m including my Goal Crusher 2.0 workbook! Enjoy!
Also I’m going to show you how to set these up digitally in Asana!
Enjoy!

The Clarity and Purpose Series – Part 3 – Conquer the Calendar
Whip it! Whip it Good! Whip That Calendar Into Shape!
Can you tell I like music? LOL
Your calendar is either going to be your best friend or the bane of your existence. The goal of the day is to bring you out of the sewers and make that calendar your friend and ally. (get it, bane of your existence…haha if you didn’t go watch some of the newer Dark Knight Batman series….if for no other reason than to drool over Christian Bale’s butt ;) )
There’s a million ways to make a planner. So many planners out there that are wonderful! Here are a few of my favorites. If you see a * next to the name it means I am an affiliate and that means that if you make a purchase I will get a small reward for your purchase. It doesn’t cost you anymore just helps to keep programs like this going and put food on my families table. :)
Day Designer (Black Stripe is my absolute fav)*
The Brilliant Weekly Scheduler
The Daily Action Planner (90 day) Also comes in a 30 day option
Yours Truly also created a calendar and planner for this year. I call it back to basics as it will help you see everything you need to do and gain clarity on your daily schedule and tasks. Here is the link to my calendar Back to Basics.
You can also do this electronically! Here are a few programs that are great for creating a planner in.
Trello (stay tuned to the next post in the series where this is covered)
Alright below is the daily blocker sheet I’ll mention in the video to help you plan it all out initially. If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to reach out!

The Clarity and Purpose Series – Part 2 – Brain Dump
Oh, Brain Dumps! How I love thee, let me count the ways!
Brain dumps are the most magical things in the world! They allow you to open up valuable creative and strategic real estate in your brain!
Today we are going to be doing just that. The trick is to write until your brain has nothing left in it…regardless of what comes out! Once you do that you will begin breaking it out into specific categories. Some examples could be, Books to Read, To Do’s, Appointments, Calls to make, Things to Buy, Cleaning, Business Tasks, as well as all of the projects you listed yesterday!
I find that sometimes I begin the brain dump, go as much as I think I can put the paper away and then bust it out a few hours later and even more comes out! Seems totally crazy pants but it does happen and it works magnificently!
Have a great day and enjoy the dumping process! <3
